Blake Whyte

As an educator Blake has taught master classes at Denison University and Kalamazoo College, lecturing on song interpretation, acting, voice, and the demands of being a sustainable artist in New York City. He has taught widely around the United States as a teaching artist.
An actor, songwriter, and vocalist with supreme soul. He has starred in the shows 'Wicked' and 'Mamma Mia!' on Broadway.
As a singer/songwriter he released a debut album entitled ‘More Like Myself’ available on Spotify and iTunes, and was named NY-1's Pick of the Week for his hit show at Joe's Pub. He was a proud member of the Johnny Mercer Songwriting Project and is currently studying to obtain his Master’s in Songwriting at NYU Steinhardt.
Blake's newest project is a musical about the founding of Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine. He is also a founding partner of Park Champions, Inspiring Conservation for all generations. Creating musicals for our National Park's. Always outdoors, always acoustic. Music, Movement, & Nature.
Blake’s finest creation to date is his son Haven, (5months) and his daughter Kya, (almost 4).
